Kilimanjaro Jerk Pork Chops (or Chicken)
Serves 4 people
4 6oz boneless pork loin chops
1 6oz Kilimanjaro Original African Jerk Sauce
Marinate chops in a glass bowl or baking dish for 6-24 hours. The longer you marinate, the stronger the Jerk flavor. Then grill or bake as desired. For the best Jerk flavor baste chops while cooking with our Jerk sauce. Try this same method with chicken…yummy!
Kilimanjaro Jerk Pasta Salad
Serves 4-6 people
1/2 lb Garden Rotini Pasta
3 qt Water
1/4 cup Green Pepper julienne
1/4 cup Yellow Pepper julienne
1/4 cup Red Onion julienne
1/2 cup Cherry Tomato quartered
1/4 tsp Salt to taste
3/4 cup Kilimanjaro Original African Jerk Sauce
Cook pasta in water and drain. Cool pasta by rinsing with cold water. Toss the remaining ingredients in a bowl and chill before serving.
Kilimanjaro Cream Cheese Spread
2 8 oz packages Cream Cheese
1 cup Confectioners Sugar
1/3 cup Original African Jerk Sauce
Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature or microwave for 25 seconds. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve. For firm spread let set in refrigerator for 2 hours.
Jerk Corn Muffins
1/4 cup of African jerk sauce
1/4 cup of honey
Your favorite corn muffin mix.
Add jerk sauce and honey to the corn muffin mix and bake as usual. Use mini muffin pans as these set up better during baking. Be careful when baking as adding honey will burn more quickly.
