Roasted Winter Vegetables:
Ingredients:
2 pounds of Sweet Potatoes
or Winter Squash -
Acorn or Butternut.
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup Brown Sugar Syrup
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
2 tbsp. Ginger Syrup
1/4 tsp. Ginger powder
salt and pepper to taste.
Directions:
Peel potatoes or seed vegetables and cut into bite sized pieces about 1/2 inch.
Put in a roasting pan.
Combine remaining ingredients in sauce pan and heat until smooth.
Pour over vegetables and bake at 350° for 40 minuets or until tender.
Stir vegetables occasionally while roasting.
